Ingredients: 16 bacon strips. 1-1/2pounds ground beef. 1sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed. 4slices mozzarella cheese. 4 slices cheddar cheese. 1 tablespoon milk. 1 au jus sauce mix.
Prep: in a large skillet cook bacon until crisp. (Or how ever you cook your bacon)
Shape beef into 4 pattys and cook till no longer pink and then let cool.
On a lightly floured surface roll out puff pastry to half the original thickness and cu into 4 rectangles. ( basically roll it out till you can fit a burger party and extras on each cut square and still be able to fold it up closed)
Place a slice of mozzarella in the center of each rectangle top each with 4 bacon strips, one beef patty, 4 more bacon strips, and a slice of cheddar cheese.
Wrap pastry around the filling brush the edges with water and deal them.
Place on a greased baking sheet and brush them with milk.
Bake at 425 for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
MEAN WHILE!!!! : prepare au jus sauce acording to package directions and serve with the burger puffs. ( I used it as a dipping sauce)
